Pero no siempre Helsinki ha sido la capital de Finlandia. El zar Alejandro I de Rusia movio la capital de Turku a Helsinki para reducir la influencia sueca en una epoca en la que Rusia y Suecia luchaban por el gran ducado de Finlandia.
But not always Helsinki has been the capital of Finland. Russian Czar Alejando I change the capital from Turku to Helsinki to reduce the swedish influence. In that moment Sweden and Russia were fighting for this country.
El pasado jueves nos fuimos para Helsinki con Nina y Judith, Eva Fani. Salimos de Turku nevando y llegamos a Helsinki con un palmo de nieve en el suelo... ya podeis verlo en las fotos.
Last Thrusday Eva Fani and me went to Helsinki with Nina and Judith. It was snowing a lot and when we arrived to Helsinki we found the scene you can see in the photos... everything was snow.

NATIONAL LIBRARY
Hay una ley finesa que obliga a la biblioteca a recibir 5 copias de todo el material que se imprima en Finlandia, luego estas copias se distribuyen y se reserva para coleccionar.
La parte mas antigua data de 1844 y fue diseñada por Carl Ludvig Engel.The National Library of Finland is the foremost research library in Finland. Organizatorily, the library is part of the University of Helsinki.
In addition to being the most important of the libraries of the University of Helsinki, the National Library is responsible for storing the Finnish cultural heritage. By Finnish law, the National Library is entitled to receive five copies of all matter printed in Finland. These copies are then distributed by the Library to its own national collection and to reserve collections of four other university libraries. In addition, the National Library has the right to store in to its collection any material published on the Internet.

La Catedral de Helsinki es una catedral evangélica luterana localizada en el centro de Helsinki, Finlandia. Hoy en día es una de las atracciones turísticas más famosas de Helsinki. Anualmente más de 300,000 personas visitan la iglesia, algunos por asuntos religiosos pero la mayoría por turismo. En la azotea de la iglesia hay estatuas de zinc de los 12 apóstoles. Esta es la colección más grande en el mundo de estatuas de zinc.
La catedral es muchas veces usada como símbolo de la ciudad de Helsinki. De un modo similar, el Castillo de Turku simboliza a Turku, el Puente Tammerkoski representa a Tampere y el Jätkänkynttilä representa a Rovaniemi.
The Helsinki Cathedral is an Evangelical Lutheran cathedral located in downtown Helsinki, Finland. Today is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Helsinki. El monumento Sibelius esta dedicado al compositor finlandes Jean Sibelius.Mi nota musical sobre Helsinki viene de la mano de Eurovision y es que en el año 2007 el festival tuvo lugar enl a ciudad... igual recordais quien gano en 2006 y se llevo el festival a Finlandia.. ¿os acordais de un grupo vestido de monstruos? Exacto, el año en el que nosotros enviamos a las ketchup Finlandia gano con 292 puntos.

ResponderEliminarComo cambia la vista. Desde un paisaje completamente a otros que son con el cielo más claro. No es común por lo menos en Chile un destino como Helsinki, en mi caso, eso lo hace más atractivo.
